Guides

Your first post

Ten minutes, start to finish. You need six to ten images and a TikTok account you can log into on the phone next to you.

1. Start a deck

Open BRoller and press New deck. A deck is one post. It holds up to thirty five slides, which is TikTok's limit for a photo post, though almost every post that works sits between six and twelve.

Give the deck a name you will recognise in the queue later. The name is internal and never appears on TikTok.

2. Bring in your media

Drag your images into the deck. BRoller fits each one to 4:5 as it lands. Wide images get padded rather than cropped, so nothing important falls off the edge. Check the first slide carefully: it is the one people decide on.

If an image looks tight in the preview, open it and drag the frame. BRoller stores the crop, not a new file, so you can move it again later without quality loss.

3. Order the slides

Drag to reorder. The rule that holds up across almost every account: slide one states the claim, slides two through five deliver on it, and the last slide gives people a reason to comment. Put your strongest image first even if it breaks chronological order.

4. Write the copy

Click a slide and type its line. Keep it to one idea. If you would rather start from a draft, press Draft captions and BRoller will read the images and propose a line per slide plus a post description. The proposals appear in a side panel; nothing is applied until you accept it.

When the deck reads the way you want, run the style pass. It flags inconsistent capitalisation, double spaces, and any line that spills into the area the TikTok interface covers.

5. Connect TikTok

If this is your first post, press Connect TikTok. You will be handed to TikTok's own login screen, you approve the permissions there, and you come back to BRoller. Your password never passes through BRoller. The connection guide explains each permission.

6. Send it to your drafts

Press Send to TikTok. BRoller renders the slides, uploads them, and polls until TikTok confirms the draft exists. This usually takes under a minute. When it is done, the deck moves to Sent in your queue.

7. Publish from the TikTok app

Open TikTok on your phone, go to your profile, and open Drafts. Your post is there with the images in order and the description filled in. Add sound, check the cover frame, and publish.

BRoller stops at the draft on purpose. The last look before something goes public should be yours.

What happens next

Once the post is live, BRoller picks it up in your video list on the next refresh and starts tracking its numbers alongside your other posts. See reading your numbers.
