When a send fails
Sends fail for a small number of reasons. BRoller names the reason on screen. Here is what each one means.
"Reconnect your TikTok account"
The token TikTok issued has expired or was revoked. Nothing is wrong with your deck. Press Connect TikTok, approve again, and send. Your decks and your recorded numbers are untouched by reconnecting.
"TikTok rejected the media"
One of the images failed TikTok's own checks. Usually one of:
- A file over the size limit. Re export it at a lower quality setting.
- A format TikTok does not accept for photo posts. Convert to JPEG or PNG.
- An image with a extreme aspect ratio that survived the fit step. Re crop it in the editor.
BRoller names the offending slide so you do not have to check all of them.
"Upload timed out"
The upload started and TikTok did not confirm within the window. This is almost always a slow connection on a large deck. Nothing was published, and there is no risk of a duplicate: press Send again. If a draft did arrive despite the timeout, delete the duplicate in the TikTok app.
"Too many requests"
TikTok rate limits uploads per account. Wait a few minutes and send again. If you are sending several decks in a row, space them out. BRoller will queue them for you if you press Send on more than one.
The draft is not in my TikTok app
Check three things in order:
- You are looking at the same account BRoller says it is connected to. The account name is shown in BRoller's account panel.
- You are in Drafts on your profile, not in Posts. Sent decks arrive as drafts, never as published posts.
- The TikTok app has been pulled to refresh. Drafts created through the API sometimes need one refresh to appear.
Still stuck
Write to support@limed.tech with the deck name and roughly when you pressed Send. That is enough to find the request in the logs. A person answers, usually within one working day. See Support.
